- The Cosmograph Daytona, with its tachymeter directly engraved on the bezel, was introduced as a model with a strong racing image. Its sporty yet luxurious design makes it arguably the most popular model among Rolex 's many offerings. The movement uses the Cal. 4030, which is a modified version of Zenith's El Primero, originally 36,000 vibrations per hour, but reduced to 28,800 vibrations per hour. Eight diamonds are set on the dial, and combined with the yellow gold material, it exudes a luxurious presence.
