- This is the fourth-generation Daytona Ref.16520, which is equipped with an improved caliber 4030 based on the famous "El Primero", which is the highest movement in chronographs. It is also a historical model that marked a major turning point from a Hand Winding movement to an automatic movement. It was discontinued after 11 years of production from 1989, but it has been popular among fans even after the announcement of its successor, the Ref. 116520. It gradually became popular from the late 1990s, and the price increased year by year even after the end of production in 2000. It is also interesting that the early models had many changes in the specifications of the dial and bezel, and the prices were different.
