About Overhaul
Disassembling and cleaning the movement is called Overhaul.
It can be done once every 3~5 years to keep it in good condition.
1. Disassembly
Remove the movement from the case and examine the gears, hands, dial, etc.
We will disassemble it into its individual parts.
Damaged or worn parts will be replaced with new ones.
2. Washing
We use specialized equipment to clean away dirt and deteriorated oil from each part.
3. Lubrication and Assembly
The gears and other parts are assembled, and each part is lubricated using a different type of lubricant.
After assembly, we will perform a function check.
4. Polishing
Scratches on exterior parts such as the case and bracelet are removed by polishing them with specialized equipment.
5. Examination
After assembling the movement, case, bracelet, etc., we perform a function check. We measure the accuracy using a specialized tester and make readjustments as needed. At the same time, we also check for water resistance and automatic winding.
The item will be returned to the customer after a final inspection.
