- This modern sublimation of the "GRAND SEIKO style" established by the original 44GS combines the brand's iconic "Iwateyama pattern" dial with a beautiful face composition of light and shadow. The pale purple dial is inspired by the prefectural flower of Iwate Prefecture, "paulownia". It elegantly expresses the color that has been popular as the "purple paulownia of the south" because it blooms pretty flowers in spring. The movement is equipped with a hand-wound mechanical "Caliber 9S64" that runs for approximately 72 hours at maximum winding. The design reduces the torque damping gently to achieve stable accuracy. One of the attractions is that the integrated structure of the gear train receiver gives it a robust and beautiful movement appearance. It is an elegant piece that harmonizes design and craftsmanship that is alive with nature and tradition.
