- In 2012, IWC revamped its popular Pilot series. The case was slightly enlarged, and the date display was changed to a three-link design. The bracelet was also redesigned, with curves added to the inside of each link for improved comfort. The buckle can be finely adjusted in 1mm increments, up to a maximum of 6mm, by pressing the logo. Like its predecessor, it features a soft iron inner case for excellent magnetic resistance, and the double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal can withstand sudden changes in atmospheric pressure. Power reserve is 42 hours.
