- The Ingenieur, developed in 1954 as a "super magnetic-resistant watch," takes its name from the German word for "engineer," and was designed for people in specialized professions where electromagnetic radiation is a concern, such as doctors and radiologists. This particular model is a collaboration with AMG, a renowned tuning brand for Mercedes-Benz. The logo is prominently engraved on the case back.
