The watch was in good condition upon arrival, so only a light polishing was performed. There are no noticeable dents or scratches, and it is generally clean. There is no rust on the hands, and no discoloration or stains on the dial. The glass is also in good condition. There is a slight crack on the dial between the 6 and 7 o'clock positions. The strap shows only slight signs of wear.

- BOVET is a brand that strongly emphasizes timepieces as works of art, employing techniques such as enamel and Kaga maki-e (lacquerware) on the dials, and was favored by many powerful figures, including the emperors of China. This particular model is an elegant piece with an 18K rose gold case adorned with diamonds and an enamel dial. The design, with the crown guarded by a bow (curved ring) at the 12 o'clock position, is inspired by 19th-century pocket watches.
