- A "regulator" is a special type of watch in which the hour, minute, and second hands are driven independently and synchronized. Normally, the hour and minute hands overlap 12 times in a 12-hour period, but by making each hand independent, they only overlap twice in a 12-hour period, allowing for consistently accurate time readings. This layout was standard in observatories and watchmaking workshops. This is the "Regulator Classic," a new model in the Regulator Collection. With its guilloché pattern inside the hour and second display circles, and hands positioned with exquisite length and balance relative to the dial size, this watch has a distinctive yet refined feel.
