- The Monaco made a spectacular debut in 1969 as the world's first waterproof chronograph with a square case. It is equipped with the Zenith El Primero based automatic chronograph "Caliber 36" and features the "Advanced Dynamic Absorber System," which supports the movement as if floating in mid-air with shock-absorbing arms at the four corners.
