- Model Information
- The Arceau is a men's watch designed in 1978 by HERMES 's exclusive designer, Henri Drigny. The model's name, "Arceau", means stirrup in French for harness, and the arched metal fittings on the lugs make it an iconic detail, as the name suggests. In addition, the Arabic numeral indexes in italics give a sense of movement reminiscent of the dynamism of a galloping horse, giving the entire watch a poetic rhythm. The "Arceau skeleton" of this model reveals through the gradient, smoked dial that reveals the finely finished movement, which quietly speaks of the artistry of mechanical watches. The skeletal rotor with the "HERMES" logo rotates gracefully from the see-through back, allowing you to fully enjoy the visual beauty.
