- The "Datejust" was released in 1945 as a model with all three major ROLEX mechanisms: the waterproof "Oyster case" carved from a block of metal, the "Datejust mechanism" that instantly changes the date around midnight, and the perpetual mechanism with a fully rotating rotor. It has now grown into a model that is the face of ladies' ROLEX. This is a rare Datejust from the 5-digit era. The smooth bezel and three rows Oyster bracelet have a sporty and mannish look.
