- The "tourbillon," also known as the "magic cage," is an extraordinary mechanism that eliminates accuracy errors caused by positional differences by housing the regulating and escapement mechanisms in a cage called a carriage and rotating it 360 degrees. This mechanism, now featured in the top models of many watch manufacturers, was conceived and realized approximately 200 years ago by the great genius watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet. The "tourbillon," considered one of the three major complications of watchmaking, is one of his many inventions. Through the see-through case back, you can admire the intricate movement of the tourbillon and its beautiful decoration.
