- Omega's top diver's watch, the Planet Ocean collection, was reintroduced in 2011 with significant improvements. While retaining the traditional 600m water resistance, helium release valve, and unidirectional rotating bezel, it achieved even greater stability and reliability by incorporating a free-sprung balance wheel with a silicon balance spring (Si14) and a new Co-Axial escapement. Another notable feature is the use of two different colors of luminous paint, which greatly improves visibility during dives.
