- The "1815" reflects the personality of Adolph Lange. Its true value can only be appreciated by viewing the perfectly finished movement through the transparent case back. The 3/4 plate, which leaves the natural surface of the material intact, is set with five screw-down gold chatons, and the blue of the blued screws and the red of the artificial ruby jewels create a beautiful contrast. Right next to the 3/4 plate is a hand-engraved balance bridge, and since no two hand-engraved decorations are alike, every 1815 is truly one of a kind in the world.
