- In the 1930s, a pasha (governor) of Marrakech asked for a watch that could be worn in the pool. That's the root of "Pasha Du Cartier". In 1943, a round-shaped waterproof watch was introduced, which became the prototype of the current Pasha. Later, in 1985, in collaboration with legendary designer Gerald Genta, it was redesigned as a jumbo-sized model that incorporated a military taste while combining the elegance of a Cartier. This refined evolution has given rise to a wide range of variations to this day, and it continues to captivate many enthusiasts as a collectible model. This is one of the early models at the time of its announcement among such historic Pashas. The simple and neat design of the Cartier and Genta, the fusion of their aesthetics, still exudes a charm that will never fade.
