- Royal Oak, a flagship model of Audemars Piguet and synonymous with luxury sports watches, was designed by Gerald Genta, who has created many popular models. Since its first release in 1972, it has been a highly popular sports watch. This popular model features an octagonal bezel inspired by a ship's porthole, eight embedded screws, and a dial with Grand Tapisserie decoration. This particular model is a limited edition of only 200 pieces produced exclusively for Japan.
