- The "Explorer I," named after the "explorer," is a Rolex sports model characterized by its simple and timeless design. It's a classic and popular model that can be worn in any situation, regardless of clothing, time, or place. It's also readily available on the market, making it an excellent entry-level Rolex model. The previous model, the 14270, and this model, the 114270, are virtually identical in terms of hand thickness and design, so there are almost no visual differences.
