- It's called "Monte Carlo" because of its dial, which is reminiscent of a casino roulette wheel. The 7100 series has three variations: Ref. 7149/0 with a plexiglass bezel with a 500-unit tachymeter scale, Ref. 7159/0 with a steel bezel engraved with a tachymeter scale, and Ref. 7169/0 with a rotating bezel, which was the prototype for the first generation.
