- TUDOR's vintage chronograph "Ref. 7159/0 Monte Carlo" is one of the brand's leading sports models that appeared in the early 1970s. Its bold design and technical connection to ROLEX make it a rare timepiece that remains highly sought after today. Presented at the 1971 Basel Fair, the Ref. 7159/0 was the second generation of Tudor's chronograph. The nickname "Monte Carlo" comes from the fact that the design of the dial is reminiscent of a casino roulette table. While utilizing ROLEX 's technology, TUDOR is an ambitious work that pursues its own aesthetic.
