It is an old model and has some signs of use, but it has been maintained at our store and is in good condition. The luminous is all-tritium, and the windshield is a genuine product with a cyclope although it has minor scratches. The black mirror dial has changed to a good texture like a hammer tone over time. The breath is made by genuine Gay Flare. Manufactured around 1964.

- We have received a highly collectible vintage IWC watch. The movement it houses, Cal. 8531, is a caliber equipped with a calendar function, based on the Cal. 853, which is the third generation of the Cal. 85 series, and was the first to adopt the highly efficient Pellaton winding system. The 85 series movements have remained basically the same from the early to the final models, but slight changes have been made to the balance wheel and other parts. The Cal. 8531 employs a balance wheel with 16 adjustment screws, and the regulator is finely adjusted by a screw attached to the balance wheel arm. This is the same system as Patek Philippe's Gyromax. IWC movements from this era are extremely durable due to the meticulous finishing, such as perlage, applied to the smallest details, and some experts rate them as being on par with Patek Philippe.
