- The "Cal.9S" is a high-precision mechanical movement that meets the standards of the "GRAND SEIKO standard" in which the accuracy of a single movement is verified over 17 days in an environment set to a six-way attitude and three levels of temperature, after carefully assembling and adjusting each one by hand by a dedicated team. It is equipped with a newly developed balance spring, escape wheel, and ankle over the course of about five years to improve the basic performance of a mechanical watch.
